The House of Bohème Retreat

Set in the heart of the Norfolk countryside, this luxury retreat house has been designed to relax, restore and reconnect.

Owned by home-wellbeing brand, The House of Boheme, the interiors have been thoughtfully curated to create a relaxing Sanctuary, using only natural materials. From the fully equipped yoga and meditation studio, to the cushion filled ‘Zen Den’, the waterside fire pit, to the hammocks swaying amongst the trees, there are endless opportunities to switch off and find your calm. An experience menu of classes and treatments is provided upon booking to make your stay as comfortable as possible, including yoga, meditation or gong bath classes, massages and private chefs.

We offer the property for the following bookings;

- Wellness weekends with friends

- Privately hosted retreats

- One day events (Wednesday or Thursday only)

- Film and photoshoots

Outdoors

The 1.5 acre gardens and surrounding area provide a chance to reconnect with nature. Muntjacs stroll past the windows, while bunnies play in the grass, as well as kingfishers in the large pond and tropical birds that fly past. At night you can star gaze and enjoy the sound of nothing but wildlife, perhaps from the comfort of the wood fired hot tub.

Location 

The house is set in a tiny village, but surrounded mainly by fields, woodland and beautiful country walks. Although you feel very much in a countryside setting, the quaint city of Norwich is only a 20 minute drive away for shopping, restaurants, cinemas or the famous ‘pub and paddle’.

In the local area, there are two countryside pubs, one a 4 minute walk from the house, the other a 5 minute drive. There is a lovely farm shop and cafe called The Goat Shed in walking distance for food and amenities as well as a gorgeous cafe and homewares store called The Painted Barn just a 5 minute drive away.

The house is a 2 hour drive from London (or 90 min train and 20 min taxi via Norwich train station). The Norfolk coastline is 40 mins drive away to a vast array of beaches, two of our favourites being Holkham and Cromer.

House Rules

Please only book a stay if you are happy to agree to the following;

Strictly no parties - the house is designed and furnished as a wellbeing retreat.

Our interiors are luxurious, neutral and minimal - Please only book if you can respect the space, giving thought to mud, red wine, felt tip pens etc.

Due to the style of property, we can only accept bookings with children if parents are happy to take full responsibility for the space and ensure children are watched at all times, both indoors and in the gardens as there is a large pond and hot tub.

Very well behaved dogs only - owners must take full responsibility and not allow them on sofas or upstairs.

Anything used in or on the property (such as fires, hot tub, appliances etc) is done so at your own risk.
